A house built for fun– At Home With The Hahn’s

Finding the perfect location is one thing, but turning a house into your dream home? That’s where the real fun begins! Katie and Adam Hahn, along with their energetic kids, took on this adventure headfirst when they moved to Bay Village. Their lakeside home had tons of potential, even if it wasn’t perfect at first. With the vision of a grand staircase anchoring the space, they saw the chance to create a bright, open home where their kids could run wild (but they could remain sane).

The Hahns and I first met when they contacted me about a potential buy & renovate (plus the sale of their Rocky River home). It took a lot of soul searching but over time, we realized that this Bay Village home that had been sitting a bit on the market was just perfect for a whole-house renovation.

Adam & Katie dove into a full-blown renovation, living in just one room for over a year while they transformed the rest of the house. Major upgrades included a stunning new kitchen, a spa-like master bathroom, and a cozy loft space…. (Also, just wait until you see the stunning staircase!) Their mission? Make the place feel brand new without the hassle of building from scratch. Also, they loved that the existing home was in the PERFECT location.

Integrating Renovation with Home Buying:

Renovating instead of building new saved the Hahns a degree time and money, and also let them live in their dream location. Now, their abode is a spacious, open wonderland perfect for their lively family. The kids have all the room they need to play, and everyone loves the brilliant lake views every single day.

Why Wrap Renovations into Home Buying:

  • Get Rooted: If you’re ready to put down roots and not have to move in the next few years as you keep searching for your dream home, then this is a great strategy.

  • Tailored Spaces: Your home will be customized to fit your lifestyle and needs perfectly.

  • Expert Guidance Through a Process That can be Stressful: I’m here to help you plan and execute your renovations, ensuring everything is done to the highest standard, and to find and build your dream renovation team.

  • Save money + Time in the Long Run: Combining renovations with your home purchase can save you both time and money.

Living in one room with three young kids?

It was a challenge, but so worth it. The Hahns now love their spacious, airy home and the amazing views of Lake Erie. The new loft quickly became the family’s favorite hangout, perfect for relaxing and enjoying each other’s company with that killer lake view.

Thank you Hahns for a fun afternoon visit … for trusting in me & the process and for being amazing clients.

XO,

Candace
