At Home With– Scott, Camille & Gianna
Helping clients find their dream home is incredibly rewarding, but seeing them turn that space into something truly their own is even better. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Scott, Camille, and their adorable daughter Gianna in the BeachCliff II neighborhood of Rocky River. Their home was a gem but wasn’t exactly perfect (what home is?), so they decided to dive right into renovating the kitchen and opening up the lower level. With Gianna on the way, they were racing against the clock and even touched up some painting the day before she arrived! I was able to visit them during Gianna’s first birthday week to see how everyone had settled in and chat about what they might do differently if they had a time machine.
Let’s take a look!

So, do they wish they’d done anything differently?
While they love their lower level, Scott and Camille had considered extending the kitchen footprint to match an existing den. After living in their home for just over a year, they realized that’s one detail they wish they’d included in the original project. So, why didn’t they? Well, the cost, of course. Seeing all that money go out the door can be a bit stressful. But looking back, they would love to have that project done. A more spacious and light-filled kitchen would make their home even more enjoyable and bring them closer to their beautiful backyard.
A big Thank you to this wonderful family for inviting us in for a glimpse of real life….
XO,
Candace
